Our farmhouse – Il Capitano – in San Piero Patti (Messina) is just a few kms out of the village which has a 15th-century convent, the cathedral of Santa maria dating back to A.D. 1200 and an Arabo-Norman town centre.
In the neighborhood of the farmhouse you can visit Montalbano Elicona, Tindari with its famous sanctuary, a suggestive seascape and archaeological remains.
Patti Marina and its Roman villa rich in magnificent mosaics are within easy reach as well as San Fratello and Randazzo with its old churches. Milazzo -which is the departure port for the Aeolian Islands – is also easy to reach from the farmouse. The Aeolian Islands can also be seen from the terrace of our farmhouse.

 The ‘Il Capitano’ farmhouse can be reached through the ‘A18’ CATANIA-MESSINA highway exit FIUMEFREDDO passing through RANDAZZO, S. DOMENICA DI VITTORIA. 1 KM before getting to FLORESTA following the ‘’IL CAPITANO’’ sign. In alternative, through the ‘A20’ MESSINA-PALERMO highway exit PATTI (MESSINA) driving forward to SAN PIERO PATTI and after going past the village for 1 km as far as RACCUIA following the ‘IL CAPITANO’ sign which stands on your left.
